Camping & Caravan site
A small family run campsite, exclusively for adults and their well- behaved pets, offering large level pitches, catering for Motorhomes, Caravans, Roof tents,Trailer Tents and Campervans. With Country views all around, Mount View is very private & secluded, with pitches providing Electric Hook Ups (16amp), water points, access to free WIFI, CCTV coverage, along with waste disposal facilities.
With a choice of toilets and showers, Mount View also provides washing up facilities, book club, and access to eggs from our free range chickens (when available).
The Cabin
If camping isn’t for you, why not book a stay in our large luxury glamping pod. Fully insulated & built from locally sourced materials, “The Cabin” is best suited for two adults. It is a completely self-contained unit, with its own ensuite shower room, walk in wardrobe, large bedroom, lounge area, washing up facilities, and its own exclusive wood fired hot tub.
The Lodge
With Countyside views and soon to be completed private decking area, our 2-bedroom static caravan
is best suited for either two or four adults. Totally self-contained it benefits from a fully functioning kitchen, with open plan lounge & dining area, along with shower room and toilet.

Amlwch is the northern most town in Wales and is situated on the northern coastline of Anglesey. At one time it was a booming mining town that became the centre of a vast global trade in copper ore, with the harbour inlet becoming a very busy port and significant shipbuilding and ship repair centre.
Those days have gone but can still be brought to life with a visit to the Copper Kingdom and a trip to Parys Mountain where the copper ore was once mined.
Mount View is ideally situated for both short and longer term breaks. Only a few minutes’ walk from the Coastal Path, Mount View is within walking distance of a couple of the town’s café’s, two pubs, and the local chippy!
Mount View is around 20 miles from the town of Holyhead, with its country parks, South Stack lighthouse & cliffs, and the RSPB reserve. Why not take a day trip to Ireland sailing from Holyhead Port?

Fantastic stay on this little gem of a site.
Wow what a site. We were met by Karl and Julie the owners who gave us a guided walk round of the facilities and Karl showed us to, and reversed us into our pitch. The electric is metered so he showed us how to hook up and said the meter reading was on the info pack he'd given us which it was. The pitch was level on grass. Karl loves his grass. He tends it lovingly mowing every day and moving vehicles according to the previous campers grass flattening exploits, ie awning marks etc. Its a small site but spacious between vehicles. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the showers are powerful. No extra charge for these.
At night, WOW , the stars!! If you love star watching then go here!! It's amazing. I saw shooting stars, the constellations, planets. Also nearby is a cove where dolphins play. It's so relaxing this area. I slept like a log the 4 nights we stayed! At home I have trouble sleeping due to poor health. Think I need to move here permanently!
Karl also saw my hubby struggling after a long walk and offered to drive us back to our pitch. Such a nice thing to do.
There are free-range chickens, turkeys and quails on site to look at and maybe buy an egg or two. Horses in the next field. Birds of prey above. Dolphins and seals nearby. Nature heaven.

What a blissful, amazing stay!
My partner and I rented the Cabin for a few days and had such an incredible time! Karl and Julie are the best hosts - people who are going out of their way to make sure their guests are okay and feel welcome. The cabin itself is closed off from the campsite - you walk through the gate and it's like walking into another world with the hottub and a huge, private decking area with a view over the fields and mini river. It was such a blissful and picturesque way to spend my birthday :) I would definitely consider going back if ever in Anglesey again. It's lovely and peaceful around this part of the island too - loads of walks and beaches about and walking distance to some proper local pubs and a fab fish & chippy!

Nice well kept site
Couple who run site are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
Facilities clean and very good.
I can see why some have said its like being in someones back garden.
Lovely scenic coastal walk just off site great for dogs.
If that side of Anglesey again would stay again.

In the interest of all visitors & guests, please read and understand the guidelines below.
Arrival & Departures. Please note the various arrival & departure times.
Pitch Protection, please ensure that only breathable groundsheets are used.
Dogs. We are a dog friendly site, but dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and exercised off site. Under no circumstances must any dog be left unattended at any time.
Any dog fouling on the site must be cleared up immediately and put in the bins provided.
Finally, excessive barking can spoil the pleasure of other visitors so we request you control your pet.
Waste. Please use the bins provided for your litter and waste, and if you smoke, please do not use the field as an ashtray.
BBQ’s and log burners MUST be raised off the grass, please use the building blocks dotted around the campsite for this purpose.
Under no circumstances should a disposable BBQ be lit inside a caravan.
In the interests of safety, we do not allow open campfires or fireworks.
Notices & Signs. Please take notice of the various signs on display.
They are there for your safety & wellbeing.
We have tried to keep our guidelines to a minimum and hope that all visitors and guests observe them whilst enjoying their stay at Mount View. Anyone found abusing these simple guidelines or disturbing our other guests may be asked to leave immediately.

“Log Burners”
We have a number of log burners and chimeneas that we are able to rent out to our visitors.
Keep the night going a little longer, having a beer or glass of wine, whether you are talking about the day you have just had or putting the world to rights, there is nothing better than doing it around an open fire.
We can provide a burner at a cost of 15 per night, which includes fire lighter, kindling & fuel.
Speak to Karl or Julie during your visit to Mount View if you want to rent one of the log burners.
"Fresh Eggs"
Do you like an egg for breakfast? Why not try some of our fresh free range eggs from our own flock of chickens. You will find them in the honesty box on the RHS at the start of the drive way or speak to Karl or Julie. Chicken eggs 1.80 for 6, or 3 for 12, and Quail eggs 2 for 6.Subject to availability,
